The United States Agency for International Development (USAID/Caucasus) in Baku, Azerbaijan is seeking applications for the two year position of:
Position: Project Management Assistant

Basic Function: The incumbent Serves as Program Assistant within the Program Office (PRO) and Economic Growth (ECON) offices of USAID/Caucasus - Baku. The Program Assistant position reports to the Program and ECON Office Directors and provides support services to the professional staff of the Program and Econ Offices. It is expected that through appropriate coordination of activities between the Program and ECON Offices, the incumbent will on average spend approximately two-thirds of his/her time on Program office-related activities and approximately one-third of his/her time on ECON Office activities. The incumbent supports the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of USAID activities in USAID/Caucasus— Baku.
He/she performs a comprehensive range of administrative support and clerical/procedural functions.
Position Grade: Full performance grade level for this position is: FSN-7. A training grade level, below FSN-7, may be established depending on the education and relevant work experience of the applicant. Base Salary Range will be commensurate with established salary history, qualifications, and relevant work experience.
Required Qualifications :
Education: An undergraduate degree with training in management, business, or finance required.
Work experience: At least four years of progressively responsible work experience, of which at least two years in development work with USAID, other donor organizations, host-government organizations, and/or private sector institutions.
Language Proficiency: Fluency in English, Azerbaijani and Russian is required.
