Fellowship Description
This fellowship falls within WFM-IGP's program area of International Democratic Governance (IDG). The fellowship will focus on the IDG program's initiative on UN reform. The fellowship is full-time for a period of six months. The fellowship includes a stipend of $6,000 plus reimbursement for transportation.
Responsibilities
There are two major areas of responsibility for the fellowship. The fellow likely will spend approximately half of his or her time on each one.

- Updating website continuously with new information about the various tracks of UN reform;

II Research on UN reform proposals, either for publication or for internal use. Possible research topics include: models for expansion of Security Council and reform of working methods; civil society participation in World Summit and reform priorities that were not adopted; international environmental governance models and current Member State positions.
The fellowship would begin with 1) an orientation to ReformtheUN. org and 2) design of the Fellow's research project. The Fellow will carry out the research project and management of ReformtheUN. org under the supervision of the International Democratic Governance Program Officer.
