“Madad” Humanitarian Organization Public Union (Madad), a local, non-political, independent, non-governmental organization was founded by the national staff of Relief International-Azerbaijan in 1999 and received its official license in 2000. From a modest start in 1999, in which Madad took over the operation of Relief International's Mobile Library program,
Madad has developed its ability to design and implement a variety of predominantly locally funded programs across Azerbaijan. These programs reflect Madad's mandate to work with communities through activities as diverse as improving standards of education to school construction, introducing young adults to modern computer technologies and the Internet, and revitalizing public libraries as a community resource.
Madad is currently looking for interested candidate to fill Program Assistant position. The hired person will be responsible for the followings:
• Provide primary support to Program Officer. Collaborate with her/him to ensure efficient and prompt operation of program implementation, monitoring and evaluating process;
• Draft program quarterly, weekly reports, as well as proposal writings;
• Have close liaison with program staff in planning work and resource requirement;
• Provide translation and interpretation services;
• Prepare minutes of meetings as required;
• Other tasks as assigned in the general support of Program Department.
